Hey, Lost fans. Here's a brief interview with the show's newest mystery man, Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada, who plays the bearded, long-haired guru of the temple: 'Lost': Meet Hiroyuki Sanada.
The producers offered him the role of Dogen without any scripts, and just an explanation of character's background. And when he took the role, he apparently spent a month and a half catching up and watching the entire series.
Like everyone else associated with Lost, he's not quick to give up any answers, but he does drop a few hints about what to expect this season. According to Sanada, it will be clear why he came to the island and what his mission is.
