If you're in Los Angeles, and want to support a great cause, here's a cool event to check out this weekend.. The Asian American Drug Abuse Program (AADAP) is putting on it's annual benefit concert, which includes performances by Tim Be Told and comedian Paul Varghese. It's happening this Saturday, August 28 at the Aratani Japan America Theatre in Little Tokyo. Here are some more details:
Asian American Drug Abuse Program presentsAADAP provides substance abuse treatment services to APIs and other diverse communities. Proceeds from the concert will go towards supporting AADAP's core programs which include education, prevention, intervention, treatment, advocacy, employment and job development.
