In New York, police are looking attempted rapist who attacked a woman working in a Chinatown flower shop Wednesday morning. The man, posing as a customer, assaulted the woman, but ran off when the victim fought back: NYPD Looking For Suspect In The Attempted Chinatown Rape.
Authorities say a 47-year-old woman working at the Ming Lai Florist - located at 103 Mosco Street - was attacked by a man posing as a customer around 11:30 a.m.

As the victim tried to assist him, the suspect grabbed the woman, threw her to the ground and tried to drag her into a rear storage room, 5th Precinct Deputy Inspector Gin Yee said.

1010 WINS' Al Jones reported the victim was able to fight off the attacker, who ran off into Columbus Park.

The victim was taken to the hospital and treated.
More here: Attempted rape in Chinatown. Witnesses described the suspect as a man in his 20s, around 6 feet tall and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark sneakers, jean shorts, an Oakland As hat and a gray or tan sweatshirt.
