If you're in Los Angeles, check out this great fashion charity event... the Asian Pacific AIDS Intervention Team, in collaboration with the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, invite you to Compassion in Fashion, a fundraiser for HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention services. It's happening this Thursday, October 21 at Vibiana in Los Angeles.
APAIT worked with FIDM to redesign a new t-shirt that outreach staff will wear to educate people about HIV/AIDS. A design contest was open to FIDM students to create a t-shirt that best embodies APAIT and its mission. Ten finalists were chosen and the winning design will be announced at the event.
