Hyphen proudly presents the fifth annual Mr. Hyphen competition! Pushing beyond the limited stereotypes of Asians in the media, Hyphen began the yearly competition to celebrate men who give back and promote positive images of Asians in the community. Hosted by artist D’Lo, join us as we highlight five outstanding Asian American men, each dedicated to a worthy nonprofit organization. On November 6, 2010, at San Francisco’s Brava Theater, these men will take the stage in this pageant-styled event, competing before the crowd and an illustrious panel of judges in rounds of talent, fashion, and Q&A in order to walk away with the coveted Mr. Hyphen title. It’s a night of high-energy laughs and all-in-good-fun ogling in the name of charity. Thanks in large part to this year's Gold Sponsors, IW Group and The DotAsia Organisation, and a generous donation from Advent Software, Inc., the newly crowned Mr. Hyphen 2010 will win a $1000 cash donation to the charity of his choice.
It's going to be a fun night of laughs, community and male awesomeness. For more information about the event, go to the Hyphen website here and the Facebook event page here. And purchase your tickets, go here.
