Okay, follow me here... This is the recently launched trailer for the upcoming movie adaptation of Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre, starring Mia Wasikowska. While I haven't seen it, I can say with a great deal of confidence that there are probably no Asian people in this movie. Take a look:
But I mention it here for two reasons 1) That's an awesome poster. 2) The movie is directed by Cary Fukunaga, who made the fantastic indie border-crossing drama Sin Nombre
. This movie doesn't look anything like his first feature, but with creds like that, I'd give it a chance. Jane Eyre opens in March 2011 from Focus Features.
