casting call: sf hep b free calendar

Hey, good lookin'! SF Hep B Free, a citywide campaign to turn San Francisco into the first hepatitis B free city in the nation, is currently planning to produce a 2011 Hep B Awareness calendar, and they're looking for Asian American folks to be models. Interested? Read on:

MODEL CASTING CALL:

Enthusiastic and passionate female and male Asian American models wanted for a provocative 2011 hepatitis b awareness calendar. Ages 18 to 40 and a resident of the San Francisco Bay Area preferred.

Liver cancer is the deadliest cancer in America, and one of the leading causes of deaths for Asian/Pacific Islander Americans. Most liver cancer is caused by the hepatitis B virus. The Hep B Free campaign is ending this deadly disease. it is leading the country as a healthcare reform model. It's success stems from community support and enthusiasm. This calendar project is part of that community involvement. Based on the successful SF Hep B Free campaign, other counties and cities are starting to replicate its model. They include Los Angeles, Orange County, Santa Clara, Alameda, Long Beach, San Mateo, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC.

DATE(S): November 2010
1) Full day (8 hour) commitment, date and time to be decided by models and photographer

Locations TBD but will be San Francisco.
