new york chef beats up old man for bumping into him

What the hell? Last week in New York, police arrested 29-year-old chef Matthew Redington for punching out an elderly man. The reason the beating? 71-year-old Joon Ha Yoon accidentally brushed up against on the sidewalk. Please excuse the New York Post link: Chef leaves old man al 'dented.'

A furious Matthew Redington, 29, who once worked at the posh Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurant Spice Market, screamed, "Why did you bump into me?" at Joon Ha Yoon, 71, on Bleecker Street at about 1 a.m. Tuesday, sources said.

He then went berserk -- punching the old man in the face with such fury that Yoon wound up covered in cuts and blood.

Redington, of New Haven, Conn., is listed on a professional information Web site as 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds.
Seriously? A 71-year-old man? Redington was arrested and charged with felony assault (enhanced because of Yoon's age) and was released on $1,500 bail. What an asshole. And clearly dealing with some anger management issues.
