Just wanted to help get the word out about the very first Fred Korematsu Day celebration, honoring the important and vital legacy of an Asian American civil rights icon. It's happening Sunday, January 30 at Wheeler Auditorium at UC Berkeley.
This special afternoon will feature a keynote speech by the Reverend Jesse Jackson, a performance by spoken word artist Beau Sia, and a number of other special guests. Here are some more details about the event:
