USC CASA invites you to its 12th annual culture show Legacy, a large-scale student-produced event boasting over fifty cast and crew members, promoting Chinese history and heritage. LEGACY follows the journey of a contemporary young man from Los Angeles who is reluctant to embrace his heritage and unable to find his cultural identity. Upon desecrating a centuries-old ceremony, he discovers himself in imperial China, where he must navigate his way through unfamiliar territory in search of a way back home.
As the entire kingdom prepares for the grand engagement ceremony between Princess Jia Rong and the legendary General Chen Hsu, a deadly plot to overthrow the dynasty looms over the horizon.
It is here, amidst the fervor and excitement, that he comes face-to-face with his ancestor.
