In honor of International Anti-Bullying Day, students from David Lloyd George Elementary and Churchill Secondary came together at Oakridge Centre last month to stage a massive flashmob and take a stand. The song: "Just the Way You Are" by Bruno Mars. The dance:
It's hard to ignore that that's a lot of pink-shirted Asian kids getting down. The goal was to spread a message of acceptance and challenge others to use social media as a positive tool. I don't know who came up with this idea, or how they got organized, but it's quite a sight!
