help minami tamaki & jcccnc reach their $100,000 goal for japan earthquake relief

Just passing this along... the law firm of Minami Tamaki in San Francisco is raising funds for the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California towards earthquake/tsunami relief. If you donate before April 30, Minami Tamaki will match it. I'm told they surpassed their original goal by raising $67,000, and the new goal is $100,000. Here's some more information:
Thank you so much for those of you who donated to aid the victims of the Japan earthquakes and tsunamis. Together we've made a difference in the lives of the victims of the Japan earthquake and tsunami.

We have exceeded our initial target of $50,000 by raising $67,000 in combined donations and matches. We were only able to do this because of your generosity and through the support of several new campaign partners, each pledging $5,000 or $10,000 in additional matching pledges.

All donations and matches raised to date have been sent to the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC) so that they can put the donations to immediate use towards citizen relief efforts in the most affected areas.

Because the need in Japan is so great, we are pressing on and have set a new goal of $100,000 in combined donations and matches. Each of our campaign partners will continue to match 50% of donations up to their pledged amounts through April 30, 2011.
100% of the proceeds raised will go to JCCCNC's Northern Japan Earthquake Relief Fund. You can donate online or write a check payable to "JCCCNC" and send it to:

However you donate, just make sure you do it before April 30 to ensure your donation qualifies for Minami Tamaki's match. For more information, go to KokuaJapan.org. And spread the word.
