one beat for japan: relief benefit showcase, april 14


If you're in Southern California, the Center for Asian Pacific American Students and student organizers at the Claremont Colleges invite you to One Beat For Japan: Relief Benefit Showcase, an outdoor event featuring top local and community talents to raise and money for disaster relief.

The evening will feature performances from the likes of America's Best Dance Crew's Beat Freaks, violinist Paul Dateh and more. It's happening April 14 at Pitzer College. Here are some more details:

In response to the tragic tsunami and earthquakes in Japan, the Center for Asian Pacific American Students in collaboration with Claremont Colleges for Japan invites the community to its "One Beat for Japan" benefit showcase on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 7:30pm at Pitzer College. This outdoor, alcohol-free event will feature top local and community talents from among the Asian American community to raise awareness and money for disaster relief. This event will be followed by a meet and greet with the artists. Free parking and open to the public. Suggested minimum donation of $5.
