matching funds for american revolutionary

A couple of weeks ago, I posted about fundraising for American Revolutionary, Grace Lee's documentary on legendary Detroit activist and philosopher Grace Lee Boggs. I'm happy to relay the news that the project reached its initial goal of $10,000, with the amazing help generous supporters.

But it's not over yet! You still have the opportunity to help this project go even further, thanks to an awesome anonymous donor who is pledging matching funds past the $10,000. Grace explains on the IndieGoGo page:
Dear Friends,

I'm so happy to share with you that this morning that we reached our initial $10K goal! What an amazing cap to a great Mother's Day Weekend - so appropriate since this documentary is my second child! I am so grateful to all of you for helping me get here — you are the village that is raising this film.

BUT IT'S NOT OVER YET! Another great piece of news - an anonymous donor has agreed to match whatever funds we raise past the $10K. So if we can get to $12,500, he will donate $5000, allowing us to get $17,000 which will be so helpful to getting this film to a rough cut. So it is not too late to donate and there are still plenty of perks left in this campaign. Keep spreading the word through Email, Facebook and in person. I am so appreciative of all of your efforts so far.

Have a great week!

Grace
