Hey, artists. The Asian American Justice Center in Washington D.C. is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Want to help them celebrate? The AAJC is currently seeking submissions for their first poster contest: AAJC Announces 20th Anniversary Poster Contest.Student artists and graphic designers are eligible to participate. To enter, you have to submit an entry that visually depicts AAJC's mission: "To advance the human and civil rights of Asian Americans, and to build and promote a fair and equitable society for all." The winner will receive national recognition, and the prize-winning poster will be featured on AAJC's website and 20th Anniversary program book. In addition, the design will also be displayed on our commemorative memorabilia. Prizes include a fourth generation 16GB iPod Nano and $500 cash prize.
Submissions are due by July 15, 2011 and a winner will be announced by Aug. 1, 2011.
