This is for all you good readers in New York... 34th Asian American International Film Festival, the nation's longest-running showcase for the best in independent Asian and Asian American film and video, runs August 10-14. If you're interested in checking out some screenings, I've got some free passes to give away. Oh, now I've got your attention!I'm giving out three (3) pairs of passes to any regular festival screening. This excludes the Opening, Centerpiece and Closing Night presentations -- you should definitely check those out too! -- but they're good for all of the other great films in the AAIFF lineup.
