This is a great opportunity for up-and-coming mediamakers... The Center for Asian American Media has just launched the second year of the CAAM Fellowship Program for Asian American film, new media, and television professionals across all sectors of the industry, and of all experience levels. The CAAM Fellowship Program seeks to develop the talents and skills of a range of media professions including filmmakers, actors, programmers, and executives. The Fellowship provides a three-month structured mentorship, a two-day retreat, and participation in the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival.
Last year, CAAM paired Fellows in disciplines including screenwriting, studio development, directing, television writing and interactive producing. This year, they're hoping to encourage more applications from below-the-line crew (editors, DPs, composers) and business side talent (marketing, sales agents, managers, etc) as well.
