The JACL National Board is currently seeking prospective candidates to serve as National Director. Here's some more information about the position:
Founded in 1929, the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL) is the oldest and largest Asian American civil rights organization in the United States. The JACL monitors and responds to issues that enhance or threaten the civil and human rights of all Americans and implements strategies to effect positive social change, particularly to the Asian Pacific American community.

We are seeking a National Director to provide strong leadership over the programmatic, fund development and communications efforts to advance our mission on both the national and local level. The successful candidate will possess the leadership skills necessary to oversee all aspects of operations. He or she will have a strong personal commitment to our mission and an understanding of the issues coming out of the mission, will be a social entrepreneur, and will have a proven record of success in leading an organization with responsibility for strategic thinking and planning, budgeting and fiscal management, fund raising, administration and board development.
