We've basically hit that time of year where there's an Asian film festival almost every other week. And you know me, I'm a sucker for Asian American film festivals... so Boston, this one's for you. The Boston Asian American Film Festival, presented by the Asian American Resource Workshop, runs November 10-13 at venues around Boston and Cambridge.
The festival is screening 24 independent films and videos over four days, kicking off the Opening Night screening of Bertha Bay-Sa Pan's Almost Perfect and closing out with Michael Kang's Knots. The festivities will also include a spotlight event with legendary actor James Hong. Here's the lineup at a glance:
