japanese american national museum launches the remembrance project



Over the weekend, the Japanese American National Museum commemorated the 70th anniversary of Executive Order 9066, which authorized the forced relocation of Japanese Americans during World War II, with the official launch of the Remembrance Project, an online museum preserving the stories of the lives forever changed by the internment.
