fund this: daylight savings on tour

Daylight Savings, the indie film pseudo-sequel to writer/director Dave Boyle's festival favorite Surrogate Valentine, starring Goh Nakamura, recently debuted to sold out crowds at SXSW and the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival. If you missed it, don't worry -- here's your chance.

For the release of Daylight Savings, the producers are trying a different kind of distribution strategy. Rather than selling the film online through traditional means, they're making the film exclusively available as a reward to people who help their future projects through Kickstarter.

Your contribution will help Dave, Goh and Co. take Daylight Savings on the road, bringing the movie to theaters and film festivals one city at a time. Ultimately, the plan is to make a third movie -- it's going to be a trilogy.

For more information, and to make a pledge, go to the project's Kickstarter page. For further details on Surrogate Valentine, Daylight Savings, and all things related, including Goh Nakamura's music, go here.
