All right! The indie sex comedy Yes, We're Open will have its world premiere this Sunday, March 11 at the Castro Theatre as the Centerpiece presentation of the 30th San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival.
I've been writing about this film over the last year, and I'm pretty psyched to finally watch it, and not just because I have several good friends involved in the film, including stars Lynn Chen and Parry Shen.
Can't make it to the screening? For you, Parry has created a bootlegged version of the movie and put it online. Don't tell the filmmakers. Take a look:
Okay, nice try, Parry. But that's not really the movie. If you're in the Bay Area, you should try to check out the screening this weekend, or next weekend in San Jose. Or I'm sure it will come your way soon on the film festival circuit.
