For those hoping to see Number 17 back in the court this season, it's not happening. It looks likely that we won't be seeing Jeremy Lin suit up with the Knicks this weekend. He had set his sights on returning in time for Game 4 against the Heat, but it looks like his left knee hasn't recovered quickly enough to get back in the game: Jeremy Lin not ready to return.
"I haven't been able to load it or jump or explode or drive by somebody the way I want to, so it's going to be longer than that," the second-year guard said.Jeremy has left open the possibility that he could return for Game 5, though I think few people have left open the possibility that there will even be a Game 5.
Lin experienced soreness in his left knee Thursday, a day after scrimmaging for the first time since his April 2 surgery to repair a small meniscus tear in the knee.
"It wasn't the worst, it wasn't the best," he said of the feeling in his knee, adding, "I don't have my full explosiveness."
