In December 2009, dozens of Asian immigrant students boycotted their high school and launched a civil rights campaign around a district’s responsibility to provide a safe educational climate.The exhibit runs until August 31. The event is free and open to the public.
"We Cannot Keep Silent" was curated by Asian Americans United in partnership with BPSOS-Delaware Valley, Victim/Witness Services of South Philadelphia, the Asian Student Association of Philadelphia, and the student boycotters of South Philadelphia High.
The exhibit highlights voices from a campaign that sought educational justice in a school struggling with violence and racial discord.

The exhibit will be open through August 31, 2012.
