white house webinar: hiv and stigma in asian american & pacific islander communities, may 17

This week, the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders will present a webinar commemorating the upcoming 8th annual National Asian & Pacific Islander HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. It's happening Thursday, May 17 at 12:00pm PST/3:0pm EST.

Co-sonsored by the Banyan Tree Project, this webinar will provide an overview of HIV in Asian & Pacific Islander communities, and the impact of stigma and cultural taboos on A&PIs who are at-risk for or living with HIV.

This webinar will also showcase Taking Root: Our Stories, Our Community -- a community-driven digital storytelling initiative to end HIV stigma and discrimination among Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders. Here are some more details:
