John Cho, who you know and love from the Harold and Kumar movies, as Sulu from Star Trek, or perhaps his role on the short-lived series Flash Forward, has officially joined the cast of the NBC comedy Go On: John Cho Joins New NBC Comedy Series ‘Go On’ As Regular.
I had seen him in promos for the show, but didn't see his name in the cast. Turns out he was technically just a guest star in the pilot. But it looks like his role, as Matthew Perry's boss, has been expanded to series regular:
Harold & Kumar star John Cho has closed a deal to join the cast of new NBC comedy series Go On as a regular. The single-camera comedy stars Matthew Perry as charming and cocky radio sportscaster Ryan King who is getting over the death of his wife with the help of the members of his support group. Cho guest starred in the pilot as Ryan's boss who refuses to put him back on the air until he seeks counseling. The character will now become regular, marking Cho's first regular series role since ABC drama FlashForward.Between reprising roles in the American Pie and Star Trek franchises, a part in the upcoming Total Recall remake, the Harold and Kumar animated series in the works, and now this, John Cho has been keeping busy. It'll be great to see him back on TV again.
