Just passing along some new music from one of my favorite acts... Prometheus Brown of Blue Scholars was recently approached by The Seattle Times to write an op-ed guest column commenting on recent gun violence in the city. So he wrote a rap, filmed himself performing it, and got it posted here.
People asked for studio version, so he recorded it over a Sabzi beat and has made the track, "May Day," available for download here. Enjoy.
