Finally got around to watching this Nike commercial everybody's talking about: Jordan Presents: THIS IS WHERE IT STARTS. The ad traces the parallel paths of two future rival basketball stars -- one from United States, the other from China -- starting now through the 2032 Olympics. Check it out:
It's not perfect, and there are a few things to quibble with, but I like the fact that one of the characters is an Asian guy, front and center. Now, if the Asian guy had been the one representing the United States -- we live in a post-Linsanity world, after all -- that would have been something to really cheer about.
