You don't know how happy I am to hear the new single from Bay Area indie pop band Marine Life. Fronted by Des de Leon, who used to make music with one of my favorite bands Julie Plug, they make colorful sixties-influenced sunshine pop. Just watch the new music video for "Fool of a Kind." It's a happy tune:
I mean, really, how can you not sing along with that? It's the kind of song that gets you out of bed. "Fool of a Kind" is available on vinyl as a signed and numbered limited edition 7" single (which includes a free digital MP3 download) from Elefant Records.
