The first official teaser trailer for Star Wars: Rogue One just dropped, and holy hell, it looks awesome. The upcoming standalone Star Wars movie takes place before the events of A New Hope and tells the story of resistance fighters who unite to steal plans to the dreaded Death Star.
Directed by Gareth Edwards, the cast of Star Wars: Rogue One includes Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk and Riz Ahmed. Yes, as Episode VII director J.J. Abrams declared at Comic-Con at last year, there are Asians in Star Wars.

Star Wars: Rogue One opens in theaters on December 16, 2016. I look forward to adding more characters to this list, as well as picking up some new action figures for my collection.
UPDATE: It just occurred to me that between the stick and the look of his eyes, Donnie Yen appears to be playing a Zatoichi-esque blind warrior in Rogue One.
Hmm.
