Here's a feature film project that could use your help.... Our friend, writer/director Evan Jackson Leong has been hard at work on his passion project Snakehead, an indie crime drama exploring the underworld of international human smuggling, starring Shuya Chang, Sung Kang and Jade Wu. Inspired by true events and based in New York City's Chinatown, Snakehead follows Sister Tse, a Chinese immigrant who rises to become one of the most sought after human smugglers in FBI history.

Snakehead has been nearly ten years in the making, but it's now making big strides towards the finish line. The film has completed shooting and is currently raising post-production funds through Kickstarter.

Post-production funds will cover sound mixing, color correction, visual effects and "a whole bunch of other things that make a film look and sound great." The goal is to raise $38,000 by August 4. Crowdfunding rewards include cool stuff like limited edition art by Jerry Ma, scripts and posters signed by the likes of Sung Kang, and even a dim sum outing with Evan and available cast and crew.
