call for entries: indian film festival of los angeles

The Eighth Annual Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles seeks narratives, documentaries, shorts, music videos, experimental, children's and animated films of any length and format for its 2010 festival, happening April 20-25 in Hollywood. Jury and Audience Choice prizes will be awarded for best feature, documentary and short film.

IFFLA 2009 saw rise in attendance, publicity and support from major U.S. studios. Over 7,000 attended the festival which screened 37 films. In addition to providing a premiere showcase for their films, IFFLA also fosters access for filmmakers in attendance to distributors, agents, producers and other entertainment professionals based in Hollywood.

The submission deadline is January 8, 2010 with reduced entry fees for films submitted before November 16, 2009. For more information on how to submit your film, visit the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles website here.
