Oh, what's this now? A couple of weeks back, rumors started swirling that Filipino teen singer Charice was joining the cast of Glee -- a rumor she quickly squashed. But hold up! It appears that the rumors are indeed true this time: 'Glee' exclusive: Charice IS joining the cast! EW's got the scoop:

When that rumor began to spread earlier this month via her loose-lipped manager, Charice herself shot it down via Twitter. "I just want to let you all know, that it's not true that I'm going to be on Glee," she said.

Well, it's true now! Sources confirm to me exclusively that the international pop star is signed, sealed, and delivered to recur next season as a foreign exchange student whose killer vocals get Rachel (Lea Michele) contemplating murder.

It makes total sense. Charice is a phenomenal singer. Plus, she's got huge international appeal. I think she'll fit into the glee club's story quite well as the foreign exchange student with a killer voice.
