korea creative content agency presents 6th annual dari awards

This week in Los Angeles, the Korea Creative Content Agency and the Korea Cultural Center of Los Angeles hosted the 6th annual DARI Awards, honoring entertainment executives and companies for outstanding contributions in advancing creative content of Korean in the United States. The recipients of the 2010 DARI Awards were:
PERSON OF THE YEAR: Keli Lee for her continuous support in working with, and casting, Korean talent in Hollywood TV shows, such as actors Daniel Dae Kim and Yunjin Kim in "Lost," and Sandra Oh in "Grey's Anatomy." Keli Lee is Executive Vice President of Casting, ABC Entertainment Group.

BEST BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP: Stampede Management for its outstanding achievements in elevating Korean American music talent, such as Far East Movement, whose hit "Like a G6" reached #1 on the Billboard charts. In addition to managing Far East Movement, Stampede Management works with major Korean production companies and broadcasting networks on international collaboration projects.

KOREAN BUSINESS OF THE YEAR: DramaFever for being the largest online provider of Korean TV dramas and a leading distributor of Korean entertainment in North America. DramaFever has secured drama licenses with the main Korean broadcasting networks, and in May of this year, DramaFever signed with hulu.com as a syndication partner.
