So you like The Walking Dead, but you just felt that there was something missing -- not enough ninjas. Well then I have the movie for you: Ninja Zombies, written and directed by Noah Cooper. Because when the undead uprising begins, it's a good idea to have an effin' samurai sword in hand. But what about when it's the ninja undead? Watch the trailer:
Here's the synopsis:
Dameon, a young landlord with no real job or responsibilities, begins having nightmares — flashes from the life of a samurai, and a sword that could raise the dead. When undead ninjas start attacking his tenants, he discovers that the samurai was his ancestor, the sword is real, and he is the only one who can save the world from a zombie apocalypse!Okay, so it looks like all kind of so-bad-it's-good schlock. But if you're diggin' zombies, ninjas, or both, this might be your kind of schlock. And of course, this movie is not to be confused with Ninjas vs. Zombies, Zombie vs. Ninja or Zombie Ninja Gangbangers.
Ninja Zombies is about as low-budget, grassroots and indie as it gets -- and it shows. I'm told it was made on just $2500 raised on Kickstarter, and a lot of generous volunteer time. The films is still currently in post-production, but they're hoping to have the film done by early next year. For more information about the movie, go to the Ninja Zombies website here.
