2011 boston asian american film festival, november 10-13

We've basically hit that time of year where there's an Asian film festival almost every other week. And you know me, I'm a sucker for Asian American film festivals... so Boston, this one's for you. The Boston Asian American Film Festival, presented by the Asian American Resource Workshop, runs November 10-13 at venues around Boston and Cambridge.

The festival is screening 24 independent films and videos over four days, kicking off the Opening Night screening of Bertha Bay-Sa Pan's Almost Perfect and closing out with Michael Kang's Knots. The festivities will also include a spotlight event with legendary actor James Hong. Here's the lineup at a glance:

Actor James Hong has a prolific film and television career that spans 57 years with more than 500 roles. In this spotlight event, Mr. Hong will speak about his career and reveal secrets about the magic and realities of Hollywood.

Pot Luck Shorts: Art of Love
