'A Picture of You' opens in Pasadena, September 12

Indie family dramedy also playing in Honolulu this Friday



For all you film fans in Southern California... Writer/director JP Chan's award-winning indie family drama A Picture of You will be opening this Friday, September 12 at the Laemmle Playhouse 7 in Pasadena. Starring Jo Mei, Andrew Pang and Jodi Long, it's a great story about family, loss, secrets, letting go, and starting anew.

Estranged siblings Kyle and Jen travel from New York City to rural Pennsylvania to pack up the home of their recently deceased mother. While there, they make a discovery that turns their worlds upside-down.

A Picture of You is a serious movie about life that gets sideswiped in the supermarket parking lot by a funny movie about death. It’s a story about family, loss, secrets, letting go, and starting anew.

A PICTURE OF YOU, written and directed by J.P. Chan stars Jo Mei, Andrew Pang, Teyonah Parris (MAD MEN, DEAR WHITE PEOPLE), Lucas Dixon, and JODI LONG (SULLIVAN & SON).

But wait! A Picture of You is also coming to Hawaii! For those of you in Honolulu, the film will be opening this Friday at Consolidated Theatres - Kahala 8. The details:
