I thought I was a Hayao Miyazaki fan. Nope. This guy is a Miyazaki superfan. Jean-Pierre Saint-Tran's incredible sleeve tattoo, shared on Instagram, is one hell of a tribute to the revered Japanese director's most iconic animated films, including My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away and more.
Jean-Pierre tells BuzzFeed that he spent about 32 hours in the chair, spread over a year and a half, while tattoo artist Andy Kurth worked on the sleeve. It set him back about $2,500, plus tips.
Damn. That's a fan.
