steve byrne on the tonight show

Comedian Steve Byrne informs me that he'll be a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight. Senator John McCain is scheduled to be the main guest, so it should be a pretty interesting evening. Tune in tonight (Tuesday) to see the man who was almost President, and some good ol' fashioned comedy from Steve Byrne. He's a funny guy.

By the way, if you haven't seen Steve's hour-long Comedy Central special Happy Hour, which aired earlier this year, I highly recommend checking it out. It's available at Amazon.com and downloadable on iTunes. To learn more about Steve, and see clips of his comedy visit his official website here.

UPDATE: If you tuned into The Tonight Show on Tuesday night, you did not see Steve. I guess things with Senator McCain got interesting, so they ran out of time. Here's the email I got from Steve:
Hey there everyone,

I wanted to apologize to those of you that did tune in and watch for me on The Tonight Show Tuesday night. As you know it was Sen. John McCain's first interview since the election and I think that holds some amount of precedence. Let's see, what does a man have to say after running for president of our country or Steve Byrne's 4 minute blitzkrieg of dick jokes. You do the math. I did get to meet Sen. McCain and his wife and theycould not be nicer. He is a true gentleman. He took time to take a pic with me and even apologize for going long. A class act.

So, I got a call from the folks at The Tonight Show and I'll be doing the show again, this Thursday Nov. 13th. So, tune in, set your Tivo's and I hope you enjoy the set. Thank you all for tuning in.
So you'll be able to catch Steve on the show next Thursday. Unless, of course, they get Barack Obama as a guest on the same night.
