Calling Vietnamese American actors... got this casting call from some folks who are producing a short film, La Petite Salon, about the relationship between a Vietnamese mother and her closeted queer daughter that takes place at a hair salon. The film is a twenty-minute, dramatic fiction narrative, shot on video. Approximately two-thirds of the film the dialogue is in Vietnamese with English subtitles. The remaining dialogue is in English with Vietnamese subtitles. For more information, go here.
