utada hikaru's new english-language single

Is Utada Hikaru making a second try at crossing over? The hugely popular Japanese pop singer tried breaking into the U.S. market a couple of years back with her English-language debut album Exodus. I don't recall it doing very well. Maybe it's because people mistook her for a reggae artist.

However, word on the street says that Utada's next English-language single, "Come Back to Me," is scheduled for airplay release next month through Island Records. A new album is apparently on the way. Stay tuned, I guess. In the meantime, you can listen to the new single on Utada's MySpace.
