wife sets husband's genitals on fire

This is one of those stories I read and then immediately wished that I hadn't... In Australia, a self-confessed jealous wife was arrested and released on bail after fatally torching her husband's genitals and inadvertently setting her house on fire: 'Penis-torching wife' Rajini Narayan granted bail.

Upon learning her husband was having an affair, 44-year-old Rajini Narayan doused his genitals with methylated spirit while he was asleep and set him on fire. The house caught on fire when he jumped out of bed and knocked over the bottle of spirit. He died. From the pain, I imagine. Seriously disturbing.

Narayan was released on strict home detention bail last week, and ordered to submit herself to psychological counseling, treatment and monitoring. Yes. Anyone who would set someone's genitals on fire should generally be considered in need of serious counseling. (Thanks, Jason.)
