2009 south asian summit

The people of South Asian Americans Leading Together (SAALT) want you to mark your calendars for the 2009 South Asian Summit, happening April 24-26 in Washington D.C. This is going to be a great opportunity for advocates, students and concerned citizens to learn about emerging issues affecting the South Asian American community through workshops, discussions and networking.

The South Asian Summit is a national convening that brings together South Asian organizational leaders, community members, advocates, professionals, non-profit staff members, lawyers, and students from around the country. At the Summit, you'll engage with policymakers; learn about issues of concern in the South Asian community; and strategize around best practices and future collaborations.
