What's up with this "CHINKY EYED" shirt by Yours Truly. That's racist! According to Karmaloop, which sells it, the shirt is called The All Day Long Sleeve. If I'm not mistaken, the Korean(!) writing on the back of the shirt roughly translates to "all day long." And the lyrics on the Karmaloop site refer to a Method Man song. (It's a reference to smoking pot, apparently.)
Why would you wear this shirt? And more importantly, how are you supposed to respond if you encounter a woman who is actually wearing this shirt, CHINKY EYED all across the chest? There is no appropriate context in which to wear this shirt. It's kind of confounding. But I do know a certain Disney Channel teen star who could totally rock this shirt... (Thanks, Aimee.)
