The Wall Street Journal has an interesting story on California State Controller John Chiang -- basically, the head accountant in charge of the Golden State's money -- who's been locked in a budget feud with Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Republican lawmakers: California's Tough-Guy Controller. It ain't easy resolving a budget crisis, but someone's gotta do it... and John Chiang's the man for the job.
