"we're on his shoulders now..."

Last week, we heard the sad and unfortunate news that activist and educator Richard Aoki had passed away. During the 1960s, he was one of the few Asian Americans active in the Black Panther Party, and the only one of attain a formal leadership role as Field Marshal.
