The Aratani Endowed Chair, UCLA, and JANM present Imagined Futures, a special one day free conference for aspiring and up-and-coming APA artists, on Saturday May 2 at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles' Little Tokyo. The basics:
Imagined FuturesThe conference will feature two-hour workshops on a variety of topics, including filmmaking, anime/comics, blogs/new media, spoken word/hip hop, fiction, and the art and business of clothing, led by folks who are creating, producing and working in these fields.

I'll also be there to lead the workshop on blogs/new media.
