Here's a recent interview in the Philippine Daily Inquirer with White House Executive Chef Cristeta Comerford, who is apparently something of a national heroine in the Philippines: Pinay chef feasts on Obamas' healthy diet.

She has been the White House's exec chef since 2005, when she was appointed by First Lady Laura Bush, and was asked to stay on when the Obamas took office. She cooks for the First Family -- she's the real top chef.
