Oh, you know what time it is. It's time to meet another Angry Reader of the Week, spotlighting you, the very special readers of this website. Over the years, I've been able to connect with a lot of cool folks, and this is a way of showing some appreciation and attention to the people who help make this blog what it is. This week's Angry Reader is David Yeh.
Who are you?
My name is David Yeh. Some call me Dave. Superiors call me David. Then there's the few that call me by my full name or just the last name while locals call me DaYeh (they pronounce it day-yay).
What are you?
100% Geek. 100% Chinese. 100% American.
Where are you?
My office in Burbank. I just gave a coworker a mug with my fake mugshot on it. He proceeded to put teabags into it. I'm looking forward to heading back to Pasadena though, my current place of dwelling.
Where are you from?
Born in Westminster, CA but grew up in La Palma and Cypress. I guess you can say that I'm an OC boy. Had my parents stayed in Manhattan, I (or a maybe a bizarro version of me) would have been a New Yorker! I find that pretty crazy.
What do you do?
I like to tell folks that I make gorgeous people gorgeouser. In short, I do a lot of clean-up, retouching, still photo processing, etc for the shows of NBC. I'm also the Social Networking Co-Chair for our Asian affinity group at the company, organizing various events and functions for my fellow coworkers. It can get pretty hectic real fast but it's worth it. On the side I enjoy photography, watching cartoons, collecting toys, and music. I'm trying to learn me how to play the harmonica!
What are you all about?
Trying to be as genuine as I can and living a happy life. Things don't always go your way but there's a bright side to everything.
What makes you angry?
LA Drivers! They can't even drive good when it's perfectly sunny out... which is all the time! I think underneath it all though, inconsiderate, negative and rude people get on my nerves the most. They're everywhere. O_O
