research study on gay asian american males

I recently heard from Karin Garber, who is conducting a study with Dr. Michael Y. Lau at New York at Teachers College, Columbia University on the identity of gay Asian/Asian American males. They're currently looking for people to participate in their research, and could really use your help. Here's some more information about the study:

Dear All,

We are contacting you to request your assistance in helping us recruit participants for a study on gay Asian/Asian-American male identity. This study is being conducted by Dr. Michael Y. Lau (lau@tc.columbia.edu, 212-678-7409), a faculty member with the Counseling Psychology program at Teachers College, Columbia University.

We are seeking participants that are:

- US born

- Self identified as gay

- Asian/Asian American males

- Over the age of 18

- Willing to be interviewed in person in New York city for about an hour to an hour and a half. Additionally, if you can do an in-person interview in Portland, Oregon sometime in July or August, please contact us and we may be able to set something up as well.

- Those who complete an interview will be compensated $15.00.
